Join us for a Volunteer Job Fair to help environmental conservation and food assistance programs in Belknap County. Make a difference! Your opportunity to learn about how volunteers can make a difference in conservation of natural resources and the environment and help get food to people in need in Belknap County. This Belknap County Volunteer Job Fair connects interested people with local organizations that use volunteers in many ways to conserve our environment and address food insecurity. Whether your interest is working outdoors on a trail, sharing your knowledge about nature or agriculture or forest management, or using your skills like writing, photography, accounting, or organizational leadership there is a place where you can volunteer to help our community and environment in Belknap County. For over 73 years, Belknap County Conservation District has helped landowners and communities conserve soil, water and natural resources in Belknap County. This is accomplished by: Identifying critical natural resource conservation issues and needs Initiating action and projects that demonstrate conservation best management practices Providing conservation information, education and training Facilitating access to technical and financial resources for conservation With the assistance of volunteers and partners, the BCCD works neighbor to neighbor to help protect the landcape and natural resources of Belknap County.
