Friends of the Owyhee is excited to offer a summer day camp program for kids ages 4-18! Our afterschool program, Nature Explorers, is always a hit with kids and parents alike. Thanks to this program's popularity, we've decided to offer a summer day camp here in Ontario, Oregon for kids ages 4-18! We'll build off of the material that we learn in Nature Explorers and get deeper into it with lots of fun activities. We'll explore, learn, play games, go on a scavenger hunt, and even have an art activity! Then, we'll finish off the day by heading to the Splash Park just across the way from 4RCC. Each day will be dedicated to a different age group, and on Friday, we'll all come together for a final activity. Price: $8 per student (tuition waivers and travel stipends available) Drop-off: Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, Oregon Pick-up: Ontario Recreation District Splash Park When: Monday, August 16th: ages 4-6Tuesday, August 17th: ages 7-9Wednesday, August 18th: ages 10-12Thursday, August 19th: ages 13-18Friday, August 20th: all agesNote: When you sign up for any of the days, you will automatically be put on the Friday list! Friends of the Owyhee (FOTO) exists to help care for and protect the Owyhee Watershed throughout Oregon, Idaho and Nevada. We work collaboratively with conservation and recreation groups, landowners, ranchers, tribes, sportsman, and government agencies to help ensure the Owyhees unique ecological, cultural and recreational resources are protected for future generations to experience and enjoy.
