Join us Monday, August 16th at 6:30 pm for a poetry reading featuring poets selected by local poetry publisher, Lucky Bean Press! Join us Monday, August 16th at 6:30 pm for a poetry reading hosted by Lucky Bean Press with featured poet, Tyler Despenza. An open mic will follow. Tickets are required and will include two beverage tickets. Lucky Bean Poetry is a press and reading series in New Orleans, LA. We publish an ongoing chapbook series. Check out our previous publications here. We are always looking for submissions of original poetry and poetry in translation. We host a monthly poetry series with featured reader(s) and open mic, that is (usually) on the 2nd or 3rd Monday of the month at Blue Cypress Books on 8123 Oak Street.
