I understand your sentiment, the science was rushed and we’re left to trust multi-billion dollar corporations with our health. I don’t like it either. I think what people may miss in all the hysteria is that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is not Covid. Covid is a disease created by SARS-CoV-2, every time it infects a new person, using the hosts genetic information to build a disease your body can’t recognize. 2% mortality rate reflects the current population’s ability to suppress symptoms symptoms, not the ability to fight off the disease. Where this becomes a problem is when the same virus, SARS-CoV-2, infects a host who has already suppressed their symptoms. Each infection evolves from previous infections. This is like fighting a seasonal flu that is tailored to your DNA, but instead of yearly it can happen indefinitely. And unless you have a personal virologist to fight each infection, eventually you will become part of that 2%. It’s the perfect storm, evolves too frequently for humans to solve/predict future mutations, and doesn’t kill enough for humans to care. Get the vaccine, don’t get the vaccine.. humanity’s chance to come together failed gloriously so now we are at the mercy of our corporate overlords. Hope some of that helps.
