Description

Volunteer opportunity! Join us on the Amelia River-to-Sea trail for hand weeding and litter collection along the monarch way station. The Florida Native Plant Society, IXIA Chapter and KNB donors and volunteers have planted a pollinator garden with support from Nassau County. The pollinator garden has been designated a Monarch Waystation and is home to a wide variety of pollinators. Volunteers are needed to help weed, provide light pruning, and remove debris. Volunteers wear closed-toe shoes, bring reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and gloves. Please bring a small trowel or other tool if you prefer to use a tool for weeding. Supplies will be available. The mission of Keep Nassau Beautiful is to enable and educate the public in the reduction of litter and waste, increase in recycling, and the beautification of public spaces in Nassau County FL.
