vw bug 1969 needs new wheels

hello, I have an old vw bug 1969.. it has been mine for the last 11 years.. a couple days ago i got a flat tire and now the 2 front wheels are bent! hoping to find someone local who can either help me find replacement wheels... or who can tell me about how to convert the wheels to newer ones.. i have seen some bugs with that.. if you are able to do the entire repair great, or if you can help with part, like the advice or getting old wheels off a bug at a junk yard... or pick and pull... and then i go to a tire shop for the rest ok... just trying to find someone near the bug since i shouldnt drive it very much how it is now. it has a spare which is new and fine, and then one bent wheel that was able to hold a new tire but shouldnt be driven a ton. this project has been a labor of love, and this year was the first year i found out it doesnt even have an original engine. that was a bummer to hear because i was told its all original when i bought it to fix it up 11 years ago. so i still want to take care of this car but now it is 100% labor of love... not sure what i could even get if i sold this car, but i have been considering selling. thanks again!
