What was the point of operation "warp Speed"?

Early on in the pandemic, Trump proudly announced that he was implementing "operation warp speed" to develop the vaccine quickly. Trump bragged that he was going to cut red tape and he invested billions in taxpayer dollars to get this done quickly. The vaccine was produced in record time. Trump bragged about this accomplishment. Trump was quick to get the vaccine DESPITE the fact that Trump has already had covid. Nearly EVERY republican lawmaker in Washington has received the vaccine. Gov. Abbott and Gov. DeSantis have also received the vaccine. Marjorie Taylor Greene received the vaccine. Clearly republican leaders support getting vaccinated. But they refuse to publicly encourage their constituents to get vaccinated for no reason other than to perpetuate division in this country. Trumps own base is undermining his greatest acheivement. Trump base is making him look like a fool- and Trump is allowing it to happen because Trump is all about causing division in this country. Trump is a pandering fool. This is why he lost the election. He tries to manipulate this nation.
