WAYLAND, MA — It may feel like the school year just ended, but back-to-school season is upon us with the first day of school just about a month away. Wayland Public Schools has published the 2021-22 school year calendar to help parents prepare for the first day of school, plus events like days off and vacation dates. The first day of school for Wayland students in grades 1 to 12 is Sept. 1, and school will end on June 16 if there are no snow days.
