We will be pouring white and red varietals in a blind, side-by-side tasting experience pitting Old World wine regions against New World. Who will win the epic wine battle? Will it be our Old World selections from France, Germany, or Italy? Will the New World win with selections from the California, New Zealand, or South America? This class is for all levels of wine lovers! Wine Classes are hosted by Distinguished Taste. Troy Seefeldt, a certified wine professional and student of the wine industry, and his wife Jenn. Our passion is sharing knowledge and education through our wine journey. Our approach is simple; "Drinking wine should be fun, let's share in that fun!" Dolce Vita Wine Shop was established in the historic Chaska Train Depot in 2006. Dolce Vita specializes in mid-priced wines from smaller, boutique producers from around the world. While many major producers are represented in the store, the smaller vineyards provide a full range of wine flavors and styles at a lower price point than many popular brands. In addition, Dolce Vita carries a great selection of premium spirits and craft beers. Particular areas of specialty include Single Malt Scotch, Bourbon, Port, Cognac/Armagnac and Belgian Ales.
