YONKERS, NY — Before you know it, the 2021-22 school year will be starting. The first day of classes for the Yonkers school district is Friday, Sept. 3, except for pre-K. Pre-K students will start with a half-day on Thursday, Sept. 9, with full days starting Friday, Sept. 10. Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the new school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.
