$200 to transport cake

Events

Gravelly Lake Dr SW, Lakewood WA

Description

I will pay you $200 for a job to be done on Tuesday, August 17 that involves flying a cake from an award-winning bakery (nrbakery.com) for a wedding anniversary. All expenses will be covered, and the logistics is already carefully planned out. I will provide you beforehand with an insulated container perfectly sized for the box that the baker will put the cake in. I will buy you roundtrip plane tickets for August 17 (economy class): Seattle (SEA) takeoff @ 5:15am -> St Louis (STL) landing @ 12:50pm (flight UA 1237 + layover of 53min in Denver + flight UA 4723) St Louis (STL) takeoff @ 3:50pm -> Seattle (SEA) landing @ 6:14pm (nonstop flight AS 729) After landing in St Louis you will take a 15min car ride (uber/lyft/taxi) to a supermarket which sells dry ice. Then you will take a 5min car ride to the bakery Nathaniel Reid (nrbakery.com) to pick up the cake in my name. You will put the baker's cake box and the dry ice in the insulated container. Then you will take a 20min car ride back to the airport. I checked with the airlines and the cake box and dry ice is allowed as a carry-on item. When landing in Seattle, drive to my residence in Lakewood (45-60 min) to deliver the cake. Job done! And all expenses (uber/lyft/taxi, dry ice) costs will be reimbursed to you at the end of the day, in cash, in addition to the $200. If the cake is NOT damaged and is in PERFECT condition an arrival, I will give you a $50 bonus ($250 total). In the attached picture, the red cake on the left, the Ruby cake, is the one you will transport. This is the only picture I have of it, back from our time living in St louis. It is absolutely delicious, and well worth all this effort for a wedding anniversary surprise!
