12th Annual Great Lakes Grand Prix! In its 12th year, the award-winning Great Lakes Grand Prix features many of the world’s fastest and most powerful offshore power boats along with AquaX personal watercraft racing. Throughout this exciting 5-day event, walk through Washington Park and chat with racers, team members, boat and personal watercraft owners who also appear in the boat parade, block party and Taste of Michigan City. All weekend long, enjoy live entertainment, family fun, food, drinks and racing! Join us in celebrating and enjoying the races at one, or all of our 3 VIP events! On Wednesday, play your way through 18 holes during the Great Lakes Grand Prix Golf Outing at the Michigan City Municipal Golf Course with lunch, drinks and cart included, all while meeting race teams, race fans and sponsors. We will host our Ribbon Cutting and VIP Event on Thursday with hors d'oeuvres and open bar hosted by Sunset Grille. Get your tickets to the VIP Tent with the best race view on Saturday and Sunday with our VIP Brunch from 10am-2pm both days, including Chef Carved Inside Round and Rosemary Chicken from Patrick's Catering & Events! Saturday and Sunday VIP Event purchases will include an open bar from 10am-2pm at the VIP tent (21+ adult beverages/under 21 soda and water available).
