Just a quick note to applaud a local organization that has benefited so many seniors and their families. A good friend, a single woman, needed some help with basic day-to-day home maintenance and some support in socializing. She decided to join At Home, was embraced by its friendly community, participated in many social activities (lectures, trips to NYC, to museums....) and suddenly had "someone to turn to" when she needed advice. It made a difference in her quality of life and relieved her family of much anxiety.She was able to stay in her home for several more years.
