National Farmers Market Week: Support Crofton Market Vendors

CROFTON, MD — The first week of August marks National Farmers Market Week, and there's no better time to visit the Crofton Farmers Market and support local producers. Fresh Maryland-grown fruit and veggies, homemade baked goods, meats, flowers, seafood, collectibles, crafts and more can be unearthed at the Crofton Farmers Market. The spring/summer market operates on Wednesdays through Oct. 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 1800 Seton Dr. The annual National Farmers Market Week celebration is coordinated by the Farmers Market Coalition, a nonprofit providing training, technical assistance and network-building to farmers markets nationwide.
