Full time position as a Yard and Grounds Maintenance Technician. Saluda Hill is the largest landscaping company based in the Midlands of SC and is growing yearly. Opportunities for growth within the company will exist for employees who strive for excellence The ideal candidate will be a “jack of all trades” type with the ability to be a self-starter and work without constant supervision. Duties may involve mowing, weedeating, edging, spraying weeds, stacking and loading pallets, bagging straw, external building and shed maintenance, unloading trucks, and more as needed. Position involves some heavy lifting, working both in and outdoors (sometimes in inclement weather), and ability to operate machines and equipment such as skid steers, zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, edgers, chainsaws, etc. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial landscaping experience as well as experience in the areas previously mentioned, and be proactive in completing tasks without constant supervision.
