BOULDER, CO — Three people are accused of multiple crimes in Boulder, Longmont and Lyons, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said. Michael Phillips, 21, and Marie Alins Roman, 36, were arrested in connection with a crime spree that included vehicle thefts, porch piracy and vehicle trespassing between September 2020 and February 2021, authorities said. Adrian Cisco Quintana, 44, remains at large, the sheriff's office said. The three are charged with a total of 53 counts, including 12 counts of aggravated motor vehicle theft, 28 counts of first degree motor vehicle trespass, identity theft, theft, theft of license plates and the unlawful distribution and possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia, the office said. The group caused around $115,000 in damage, authorities said. The investigation was dubbed 'Operation Unicorn' because unicorn drawings, figurines and other paraphernalia were found throughout the crime spree and helped tie the crimes together, detectives said.
