I have a 2 yr old fire pinstripe male Ball Python. Hatched 7/10/19. He's very friendly and has never bitten me. He eats frozen thawed rat pups and has never refused a meal. He's everything I could've hoped for in a snake but I honestly don't handle him much because I work a lot and also have dogs and cats. He's in a 38 gallon tank with a Tikaton heat mat connected to a JumpStart thermostat. Which is VERY necessary to ensure your snake doesn't get burnt by the mat. He doesn't have a CHE as he's been in his own room and I use a heater to heat his enclosure. I will be giving all of these things with him including his water bowl, Zoomed infrared thermometer that I use to make sure his rats are at a good temperature before feeding him, Thermopro digital hygrometer for monitoring humidity and temperature inside the tank, 2 large hides, and the 1.5 bags of forest floor substrate I have left. His enclosure does need lots of clutter which he doesn't have right now because I threw all of his old clutter away cause I feel like you can only clean it so much.
