The board is comprised of a five-person elected board of trustees. Each member serves a three-year term. Partial terms do not count against the term limits. Board members, individually and collectively, act as representatives of the citizens of the fire district in maintaining and promoting fire and emergency medical services.
Meetings are required; the board meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Station #1, located at 2521 South Ave. W. Information about the board is available at https://boards.missoulacounty.us/board/2963.
