The Apartment Maintenance Tech will be accountable for providing quality property maintenance for our residents. Tech works with the maintenance team and management in daily operations and maintenance of our Anchorage portfolio. Job Responsibilities Include: -Perform necessary repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance. -Rotate after-hours on call work. -Prepare vacant apartments and make rent-ready for new residents. -Keep accurate records of work completed Skill Set: -Wall Repair- Drywall patch, texture, -Painting- Interior of apartments and exterior touch up, quick and clean. -Plumbing- Replace faucets, fix toilets, p-traps, garbage disposals, etc. -Electrical- Wall outlets, GFCI's, general miscellaneous electrical work. Landscaping in the Summer Candidate Requirements: -Good worth ethic and clean felony criminal record. -Strong attention to detail. -One or more years of hands on general maintenance experience. -Must have your own reliable vehicle for minimal driving to different building locations in Anchorage area and on call duties. -Must have own hand tools. -Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more. This is a Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00 schedule with rotating on call responsibilities. * 8 paid holidays. * 2 weeks vacation for first year employees after 90 day probation period. *Employer match retirement plan. *Rental discount available on housing after 90 day probation period. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
