Billings Place Apartment Building Downtown Royal Oak Mi Janitor/ Light Maintenance Billings Place is a brand new 5 story apartment building located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, walking distance to multiple restaurants, entertainment, and bars. Indoor heated parking garage, balconies, amenity spaces and more. We are looking for a janitor/light maintenance position to be filled. The responsibilities are: Daily Responsibilities -Emptying trash cans -Sweeping and mopping trash rooms -Sweep, vacuum, and mop common areas -Spot clean as needed outdoor area (Grills, furniture, and countertop) -Maintain 4 Bathroom cleanliness and towel paper -Wipe down fitness equipment as needed -Weekly Responsibilities -Vacuum hallway corridors as needed -Spot clean doors as needed -Wash down front of building and squeegee windows -Cut and Edge grass -Mop stairwells -Hose down indoor heated garage Monthly Responsibilities -Inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance supplies -Organize janitor/ maintenance rooms -Check and clean out roof drains -Light Maintenance as needed -Change air filters in HVAC -Blow off condenser units on roof -Change batteries -Install various items -Door adjustments/ align/ strike plate adjust -Paint touch up throughout building and within resident units -patching and sanding -Light electrical, replacing outlets/ lights -Problem Solving skills -Ability to critical think/ Problem Solve -Light appliance repair, assessing possible problem and reporting for warranty work Job Description/Requirements -Valid driver license -Must past background Check -Full Time- 40 flexible hours week -8:00am start -Must be able to take an emergency call if emergency arises -$17-19hr Report -This position reports to ownership and property management
