Description
Opportunity:
Assist a busy real estate office with repairs, unscheduled maintenance, and routine maintenance. This is a part time position and you will be needed on an as needed basis as repairs are needed, but you will also have a quarterly maintenance schedule that will be consistent. Will vary but an average week will be 5-10 hours. Some weeks may be more, others less. Many of these items you will be able to schedule when it is convenient for you, i.e. if you have to work around other work or responsibilities that will be fine.
Qualifications:
Must have Driver's License, own vehicle, own tools, and insurance
Must have your own tools
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Must have at least 10 years of construction / handyman experience
Must be local to Washington DC
Must be computer literate and be able to take and send pictures 7 videos of work
Must be able to communicate well in speech and in writing
Must be able to differentiate between a good quality job and a bad quality job, and only do a good quality job
Excellent customer service skills
Able to use our project management software Jira
Job Description:
Patching drywall and touch-up paint
Minor plumbing such as faucet replacement, etc.
Varied handyman tasks as needed
Quarterly changing of air filters & pest control
