I found this boot yesterday while hiking near Chautauqua. I don't understand why this mountaineering boot would be on the trails in August, but I thought it might be more easily found by its owner this way rather than them rehiking perhaps tens of miles of trails looking for it. To claim, contact me with where you think you lost it and the boot size. When you pick it up, you'll have to show me the other boot. It's about as expensive as a nice piece of jewelry, so I'm treating it as such.
