Previous experience operating a knuckle-boom crane or heavy equipment is preferred but not required. Job duties include safe delivery and offload of concrete products, forklift operation, customer service, supply runs, basic reporting, and more. See job description below: SUMMARY: The driver is responsible for safely and effectively delivering ARCO Concrete products to customers, while displaying professionalism and interpersonal skills. Driver also accepts responsibly for the maintenance and upkeep of ARCO fleet and appropriate reporting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. • Operate forklift to load trucks • Securing loads for delivery • Pre-trip checks on vehicles and knuckle boom • Operation of Palfinger knuckle crane • Coordinate delivery times with customer • Interface with production supervisor on projects • Supply/inventory errands & pick-up • Interface with customers on jobsite • Regular logs & reporting • Assists with related special projects as required. • Performs other duties as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS: • Current CDL-B License • 1-2 years related experience or equivalent. • High School diploma or GED preferred • Familiarity with CDOT standards and terminology. • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Ability to manage priorities and workflow • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player • Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance. • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: • Regular bending/lifting throughout day • Sitting for prolonged periods • Entering/exiting commercial vehicles • Lift 50-100lbs • Utilize hand and finger dexterity. • Utilize heavy equipment and hand tools WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Loud equipment requiring ear protection • Exposure to dust, chemicals, and potential toxins • Exposure to abrasive materials requiring PPE • Varying weather conditions • Frequent highway travel
