Job description We are hiring immediately fulltime Laborers, Operators, Carpenters to work several jobsites around the DFW area. Shifts may be day or night and can be over 40 hours with overtime depending on job location. Some experience in construction preferred but not required. Responsibilities •Able to follow instructions •Provide support to the skilled trades •Hand digging / trenching •Pour concrete •Place asphalt •Set forms •Traffic control •Place erosion control devices •General site cleanup and maintenance •Follow safety policies & procedures •Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends •Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures •Other duties as assigned The equipment operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment for road construction projects. Experience using any of the equipment listed below is what we're looking for. Equipment used on our jobsites: Excavator Dozer Blade Mixer Asphalt Roller Asphalt Paving Machine Pneumatic Roller Steel Wheel Roller Screed Operator Front End Loader Responsibilities Perform daily equipment inspections Operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner Able to grade to elevations and tolerances Able to become proficient before advancing to another machine Follow all safety policies and procedures Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures Other duties as assigned Qualifications 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices. The form setter / builder is responsible for building and setting forms. Responsibilities • Able to follow instructions • Set forms on line and grade • Understand the proper safe use of power tools • Assist with concrete placement • Assist with concrete finishing • Traffic control • Install erosion control devices • General site clean up • Follow safety policies and procedures • Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends • Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • 1+ years of experience • Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety • Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
