FULL TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK $17-$20 PER HOUR Moderate Income Management Company, Inc is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a townhome community in Columbus, Ohio. The Maintenance Technician will perform various maintenance duties for residential units including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and preparing units for new occupancy. RESPONSIBILITIES: Makes necessary repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locks and other building maintenance in tenant’s apartments, mechanical rooms and public areas and records them in writing as indicated on through the work order system. Assists in all aspects of the property’s maintenance; including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance. Notifies Management of maintenance problems and recommends solutions in a timely manner. Meets with the Superintendent to report the status of all scheduled work. Makes recommendations for the contract services and assists in the supervising of contractor maintenance workers as directed by the property manager. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent written and verbal communication Flexibility to take “on call” shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays.
