Multi-family, apartment community, looking for an energetic, reliable, TRUSTWORTHY, responsible Porter. Must be very organized and has an eye for detail for cleanliness. Experience necessary in cleaning and use of pressure washer (janitorial work) prefer experience in apartment groundskeeper. Full time position to rove between 2 properties (Monday through Friday) Reliable transportation. MUST be willing to work Saturday's; when needed. Hours are 7am to 4pm and or 8am to 5pm. As a Porter you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the cleanliness of all exterior areas of the property. Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following: sweeping, cleaning signs, painting of exterior as needed, stucco repairs where needed; cleaning common areas; checking and replacing exterior lighting; detail clean of property--emptying trash containers, pressure washing of all grounds including asphalt, pick up of debris and pet droppings from the grounds; removing abandoned furniture, trash and disposing of boxes, blowing debris off the property (walkways) and in and out of the carport area, cleaning and organizing pool area's/ pool furniture, clean up playground area, detail clean of laundry rooms. Covid cleaning protocol is necessary and will be required. Porter will be under the direction of the Maintenance Technician's, assisting with keeping all areas including shop and tools organized and clean, trashing out a vacant unit. You also be under the direction of the Community Manager and will need to communicate at all times, you will be given radios to use while on property. Service request and daily task list will be needed to fill out and completed daily. Other Duties- Assist with completion of property quarterly and monthly inspections for grounds upkeep, per Property Supervisor. You will be expected to conduct all business in accordance with company and housing guidelines/polices and procedures, state and federal laws, including but not limited to OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. *Qualifications* Must be able to lift heavy items and go up and down stairwells! THIS IS A OUTSIDE position, you will be required to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and lifting items. *Must have reliable transportation to commute and clean driving record*!! Must have great customer service skills, work around others and work well independently (trustworthy individual). You will be required to work on your own. Drug test screening, background and and clean driving record required. Prove of vehicle's auto insurance required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Interviews will be conducted in person, required to wear a face mask and practice social distance.
