MetLife Stadium is currently looking for employees to join their team in the areas of cashiers and counter personnel. This is a seasonal position, set to start immediately. 8-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment, dates and times of events vary. Salary: $16/HR Events: Thursday’s, Friday’s, Saturday’s, Sunday’s. (Time and dates vary) Please submit resumes to [email protected] **Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.** Cashiers: Responsibilities: •Greets guests approaching stand, provides details to guests on items for sale and uses suggestive selling techniques. •Serves food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines. •Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures. •Participates in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arranges inventory, notifies supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages. •Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment. •Performs other duties as assigned in addition to cashier duties (if applicable). •Properly records all transactions via the point of sale system and informs guests of the amounts owed. •Collects the proper money for food and beverage items; processes credit cards. Qualifications •Ability to provide excellent guest service. •Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory. •Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders. •Ability to work effectively with others. •Ability to work in fast-paced environment Physical Qualifications •Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. •Ability to stand for entire length of shift. •Frequent standing, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, sitting, and reaching. Counter: Responsibilities- •Serves food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines. •Records all waste. •Participates in set-up of stand, arranges inventory, notifies Stand Lead of any inventory deficiency or shortages. •Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment. •Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications- •Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions. •Ability to remain stationary for entire length of shift. •Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds. •May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hold and cold, depending on season. •May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
