#1 Rated Boat Detailer in Canyon Lake looking for a detailer to join the team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. Detail experience is preferred but not required SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Many jobs are completed at the marinas. Must be comfortable around water. Pay increases with ability. Higher for those that can work independently and even higher for any with buffing experience and skill. Willing to teach the right person all necessary skills to run a team. Responsibilities • Cleaning boat interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests • Removing dust, grease and oil from boats and trailers • 'Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, pressure washer, and other equipment to meet service expectations. • Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of boats • Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness • Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the boats condition • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • General cabin cleaning, maintenance and organization • Ensure all components on boat are in proper working order • Follow all Company Policies and Procedures • Perform other duties, assignments, and responsibilities as needed Qualifications • Valid state drivers license • Attention to detail • Support a strong commitment to world class customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Availability to work weekends (Not often) and evenings. • Successfully work in a fast-paced environment • Successfully work without constant direct supervision • Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50lbs. Push or pull wheeled carts which may exceed 50 lbs. • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms • Endure hot and/or cold weather conditions for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours). • Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality • Knowledge of proper products for safe detailing of vessels properly including but not limited to cleaners for various surfaces, degreasers, and waxes is helpful but not required.
