Sound Fishing Guide Wanted

Come show me how to fish the Sound from my boat! I have a access to a boat this coming Friday morning (8/6) out of Rye (9am-130pm). While I have some offshore fishing experience, I have not fished this area of the Sound. I'm envisioning you would (ahead of time) guide me to buy the right bait and tackle (I have a couple of rods), but don't know the baits and rig to use. Then, accompany me and a friend on a 23' Tidewater powerboat equipped with navigation system but no fish finder to areas in the Rye area of the Sound for fishing. Even better if you have a few rods, the correct tackle, and want to bring bait. But I can do this legwork if it's inconvenient for you. Not particularly picky as to the species we fish for. I'm just trying to learn a few things so I can take my kids on a later trip that has a high chance of catching something.
