Ready for adventure? Come Paddle & Picnic with Ignite! Ready for adventure? Join Ignite for a Paddle & Picnic event on Wednesday, August 25. We’ll meet up with Northward Peddle & Paddle at Iverson Park at 5:30pm (at the outdoor shelter by the ball diamond) for a kayaking adventure from Iverson Park to McDill Pond. The paddle along one of Portage County’s most scenic routes will take approximately 45 minutes. Then Northward will shuttle paddlers back to Iverson Park where we’ll picnic feasting on some custom, made-to-order pasta from the new Purple Basil food truck. You’ll get to choose your pasta, sauce, protein, and vegetables to fuel up after the paddle. Be sure to BYOB and a chair/blanket to hang out, play bag toss, and soak up what’s left of summer in Stevens Point. $15 for non-members FREE for Ignite members (please use code at checkout) Thank you to Skyward for being our Paddle & Picnic sponsor!!
