Vac Truck Operator Candidates must have: - Experience working with underground electric utilities - Knowledge of industry specifications and practices, OSHA requirements and safety protocol - Valid Class A Driver's License and Clean Driving Record - DOT Medical Card - Hoisting License - 10-Hour OSHA Card - Experience operating in congested city streets Vac Truck Operator Responsibilities to include: - General labor duties including, but not limited to, performing non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables operating the hydro-vacuum system - Startup, monitor and shutdown equipment in accordance with applicable safety and environmental practices and policies - Complete visual and daily safety inspection of equipment to ensure safe operations - Perform shift inspection of equipment and communicate potential repair issues to Fleet Manager - Operate equipment safely and efficiently to limit down time and minimize costs - Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning - Work as part of a team to accomplish established goals in a safe and effective manner - Be respectful to all fellow employees and customers - Must be able to repeatedly lift approximately 70 pounds - Ability to work an on-call schedule - Knowledge of general mathematics and language abilities All candidates must have a positive attitude and pass mandatory background check and drug testing.
