Itinerary Day01 BANGOR, MAINE Description: Arrive at Bangor International Airport to embark on the adventure tour of Maine. Drive to the campground and stop to buy groceries on the way for dinner at the camp. Explore the surroundings after pitching the tent. Spend the evening sitting around the campfire with the fellow group members, laughing and sharing stories, singing, dancing, and having fun. Go stargazing at night and sleep off the jet lag at the camp. Visit the famous Acadia National Park on the jagged coast of Maine. Drink in the glorious views of the Milky Way Galaxy that shines with the lights of a thousand stars against the velvety night sky. Activities Included: N/A – Free time Stargazing Campfire Accommodation: Camping Day02 SCHOODIC PENINSULA Description: Set out on the drive to Schoodic Point after breakfast on the way. Feast your eyes on the scenic views during the drive and hike at one of the four hiking trails at the Schoodic Peninsula. Go hiking at the shorter trails that include Alder Trail, East Trail, and Anvil Trail. Stop at Bar Harbor during the return. Explore the town and relish a delicious dinner before reaching the campground. Admire the traditional New England style fishing village that is Bar Harbor. Spend the night underneath the stars once again at the campsite. Activities Included: Hiking Sightseeing at Schoodic Peninsula Accommodation: Camping Day03 CADILLAC MOUNTAIN Description: Cadillac Mountain is one of the most significant destinations of Acadia National Park. The picturesque and lush green mountain is the highest summit of the North Atlantic Coast, which is Cadillac Mountain, offers excellent views of island and coastal landscapes from atop the peak. Catch the first golden rays of the Sun, which stream into the US at the summit of Cadillac Mountain. Embark on an excursion of the Acadia National Park by car. Admire the beautiful Jordan Pond nestled amid the South and North Bubble Mountains in the park. Check out the picturesque algae population of the Tide Pools and relax for a while at the spectacular Sand Beach. Spend the night at the camp. Take support of the iron rungs while ascending the steep granite cliffs and narrow ledges. Explore the national park along the Acadia Park Road to drink in the views of the rocky coastal landscapes, forests, lakes, and mountains. Escape the crowds and indulge in a fabulous sea kayaking session with the Bioluminescent Tour (optional) at night and rest your weary muscles at the tent.
