Please mark your calendars to join us at the 10th annual Heart of Henry, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Southern Hills Country Club . This year we will honor Tulsa Metropolitan Ministries as our Heart of Henry honoree to thank them for helping start our organization 35 years ago. This year’s Community Awareness honoree is Ms. Becky Frank, Partner, Chair and CEO of Schnake Turbo Frank, honoring her for her many years working to end homelessness in Tulsa. We will also honor Volunteer of the Year Ms. Laura Thornton Bloomfield for generously donating her time to assist our clients in our Clinic, even during a pandemic. The Heart of Henry dinner and awards ceremony was created in honor of Henry Zarrow – a man whose life was dedicated to charity and to embracing those in need. In his honor and giving spirit, we recognize individuals in our community who have enriched Tulsa by helping change lives at the Day Center with their courage, tenacity, and perseverance. These great Oklahomans give generously of their time, resources, and talents so our clients will have a better life. The Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless works to provide a safe, healthy environment for people who are homeless and offer them opportunities and encouragement for acheiving self sufficiency.
