Seeking a part-time farm hand for a 430-acre beef cattle farm. 4-hour days include feeding, monitoring herds for health and new calves, checking fence, and miscellaneous duties. Two days off per week. Additional May-June hours may be needed for hay season. May also need to respond to rare after-hours emergencies. Must have drivers license and reliable transportation. Requirements: -Punctuality and reliability -Fluent English -Ability to work independently -Comfort working with cattle, including at very close quarters -Comfort working on tractors and heavy equipment (prior experience preferred) Desired but not required: -Prior experience working with beef herds -Knowledge of farm equipment maintenance (must be willing to learn if not already knowledgeable)
