The Pitch Black competition is an exercise in cooperative economics, funding local creativity through community-generated micro-grants. The impact is for OUR commUNITY which will enable radical creativity and will accelerate general market, tech, tech-enabled, consumer products, services and e-commerce ideas created by African American entrepreneurs in Dayton, Ohio.
Competitive projects are any project that may be an individual or group that seeks to support and celebrate creative projects that impact local communities of color.
Projects can include (but are not limited to): entrepreneurship, awareness initiatives, community building, arts, dance, education, film, music, nonprofit social enterprises, clinics, & workshops.
