STEAM clubs meet to explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, art and math. Summer should be about having FUN. More than ever, kids need to try new things, explore, learn in the real world, and meet and interact with friends. Summer Learning Clubs do just that. Students will directly interact with their peers and teachers with a focus on real life learning. Small group instruction will be provided in a 1:6 teacher-to -student ratio, facilitated by experienced K-8 certified teachers. Using the Next Generation Science Standards as a framework we will explore our world while using everyday materials. During each session students will explore and discuss an original phenomena and pose investigable questions, theories and hypotheses.  On Thursday, August 19, your child entering second grade in fall, 2021, will learn about engineering. Because we are able to admit a limited number of students, you will be charged a deposit of $25 upon registration. Your deposit will be refunded less credit card processing fees upon attendance or notification of inability to attend sent to [email protected] or 203.291.4815 by 10 am on Thursday, August 12.
