LCJPs new Restorative Theatre Program brings youth together in an affirming space and helps them reintegrate with peers through storytelling Your Story Your Power is a new theatre program (for non-theatre people) created by LCJP and Mirror Image Arts! This program offers a safe learning environment where young people can take risks, self-reflect, and connect. We are inviting youth to join us in person to break isolation and rebuild community. Bringing together the fun of improv theatre with socio-emotional skills practice and the empathy-building power of restorative justice. This is an affirming space for people to reintegrate with peers around stories we can all relate to and recognize. Ages 14-21 are welcome, lunch is provided! (We are currently following CDC guidelines for community health.) LCJP builds community through inclusive and collaborative restorative practices and gives people the opportunity to heal and create justice in their community and the world.
