Learn the technical components of floral arrangements from celebrity-trained designer, Jessica Hall! The key to beautiful design is knowing how to sort and classify different types of flowers and understand how they work in your design. With my simple framework, even a novice designer can create jaw-dropping arrangements! Come to the farm to learn the basics of categorizing the different types of flowers and how to weave them into artistic design under the four pillars of flower classification. In this workshop, you will design one farm-fresh arrangement in a compote vase using sustainable design methods. Each ticket includes: 50 stems of farm-fresh blooms to design withDurable plastic compoteBoxed lunch from Valley Pike Market - You will be asked for your order at checkoutAttendees can bring their own snips or use ones we provide and will have the opportunity to shop snips, flower frogs, design accessories, and flowers after the event. The workshop will last between an hour and a half and two hours with lunch to follow. When checking out, be sure to select your lunch preference under the payment method. One boxed lunch is included with your ticket. COVID-19 POLICY We will be following state and national CDC guidelines for this event. The workshop will be held in our open-air drying barn, however, we do encourage non-vaccinated individuals to wear a face mask.
