FM CLEAN will be hosting their first annual meeting and membership drive. Food and entertainment provided. Fargo Moorhead CLEAN (Citizens Local Energy Action Network) will be holding it's first ever annual meeting to discuss the years agenda and elect officers. Join us for a picnic of hamburgers, hotdogs, and a vegetarian option with entertainment featuring Merrill Piepkorn and Loy Larson: The Radio Stars Duo. Free will donation for food, membership to CLEAN or DRC will be required to participate in the meeting. Memberships will be available for the one time fee of 25 dollars. All membership donations to CLEAN and DRC are tax deductible. CLEAN is a local group dedicated to influencing communities to adopt sustainable energy practices in the Fargo Moorhead area. It is an affiliate of Dakota Resource Council, who works in Western North Dakota to keep oil and coal companies accountable. Dakota Resource Council is a nonprofit, grassroots activist organization. The mission of DRC is to form enduring, democratic local groups that empower people to influence decision-making processes that affect their lives. Our focus areas are oil and gas, agriculture and food, and clean energy.
