Howdy.  I am a drummer looking for a band that is in need of a drummer. After not playing for a year and a half due to the obvious (COVID), I want to get out there and get going again. I have several years of experience under my belt and quite enjoy playing rockabilly, western swing, jump blues/swing music, and country music (pre-1980's, generally speaking). All of those styles being said, I have played in bands that have heavy Grateful Dead/Bob Dillon/Tom Petty/ Neil Young influences. Which is cool too. In addition I enjoy backing singer songwriters/original music that falls into the general "alt-country"  and "folk styles."  Although I do stay somewhat busy with pick up gigs here and there and family, it would be nice to have a band that gets together semi-regularly and plays occasionally for a little fun and money and play with folks are easy going and feel comfortable with their instruments. I am in my 40s, have quality gear, am punctual, have reliable transportation and do have a rehearsal space if needed.  I am hoping to jump into a regular playing band or one that is mostly formed that has a solid set of tunes in their repertoire and is looking for a drummer.  Let me know if you have a group that plays in the above listed styles that is missing a drummer. :) Thanks!!
