Highlighting music from 1978 to the present, The Dangers deliver energy and incredible song. Gate opens at 5:15 for picnic suppers! The Dangers celebrate over 40 years of original music. Formed in Southern California in the late 70’s, The Dangers stood out from bands from the New Wave era, creating a classic rock music connected to 60’s pop, blues, R&B and alternative country. Chris LeRoy is the original member of The Dangers that included guitarist Johnny Hickman (Cracker) and Robert Vennum (The BellRays). Current line-up includes LeRoy, Brad Vaughn, Mike Geoghegan, Ralph Torres and Desmond Saunders. The Dangers have recorded 14 albums, including their latest, Promiseland, released in 2020. The Press-Enterprise hailed the 2013 album, GOLD! as the Album of the Year. Songwriter Chris LeRoy has had songs covered by the group, Cracker and guitarist, Johnny Hickman. LeRoy’s “Whole Lotta Trouble” was in the movie, Empire Records and “Lucky” was featured on the television show, Sons of Anarchy. The Dangers will play three sets starting at 6:00 pm. There is a solid rumor The Neverlys will also be making an appearance! We'll open the gate at 5:15 for those who want to enjoy a picnic before the show. Bring your own refreshments - all we ask is that you carry out what you bring in. Admission for adults is $15; children under 12 are admitted free. If you want to reserve a table for your party, select one of the options in the tickets. Purchase of a table includes admission for up to 6 or 4 guests, depending on table size. You will receive an email confirmation with contact info to share guest names after your purchase. Bring a blanket or chairs for yourself for no cost. This is a no-pets event.
