The Walk in Remembrance with Hope is San Diego's suicide prevention fundraising event. Our 15th annual Walk is being held in Balboa Park. Welcome to the 2021 Walk in Remembrance with Hope! We are so excited to have you join with us again this year to honor those we have lost, support our survivor of suicide loss community, and bring awareness to Suicide Prevention Week in San Diego.  We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Walk in Remembrance with Hope is back in person at Balboa Park! Please join us as we walk in memory of a loved one, raise awareness, and prevent suicide. 100% of the funds raised stay in San Diego County for suicide outreach & prevention and survivor support services. All ages, friends, family, and pets are welcome to join. Our 15th annual event will kick off on Sunday, September 12th at 7 am with a dove release and continue throughout the morning with guest speakers, our Remembrance Wall, the Walk, and our closing ceremonies. Directing Change is an evaluated youth suicide prevention and mental health program.
