This is a GREAT opportunity for the right person. I am looking for a full-time personal assistant/house manager to support a working married couple in Los Altos. I am a trained pastry chef who is now at home full-time and my husband works in tech. I need an assistant to help manage the household. The right person will be interested in the specifics of the day-to-day and also the opportunities for professional development and growth being offered. Ambitious, detail oriented, organized, easy-going, flexible, fast learning and willing to go the extra mile describes the perfect fit. Pay & Benefits Full time salaried role, $50k-$90k base with potential for annual performance based bonus Paid time off (2 weeks to start), holidays, sick time, paid healthcare premium costs Work related education costs covered Requirements Running errands and other ad hoc personal tasks Strong Organizational Skills Overnight House/cat sitting when couple is traveling Light daily housekeeping/dishes/laundry - supervise the weekly cleaning crew Able to prep meals including handling eggs/dairy/raw meat and fish Fast learner, looking for feedback Manage vendors including research, obtaining quotes, finalizing services and supervising work Support planning and hosting of guest visits, events, and other social/recreational activities Someone who is hard to shock - I’ll be asking for personal/sensitive tasks to be completed, but nothing unreasonable Discreet and able to trusted to keep things in confidence Able to do heavy lifting/light physical labor Light house/garage/yard maintenance daily - nothing heavy as there is a weekly gardening service On-call duties periodically needed, specifics to be negotiated Valid, unrestricted driver’s license Pass background check and willing to sign an NDA LGBT Friendly I am willing to teach an assistant anything I know how to do in cooking or baking including paying for your Servsafe sanitation certificate.
