Offsite Property Management & Homeowners Association Management Company in Lake Stevens has immediate need for a Maintenance Technician Who We Are: We are an offsite Property Management and HOA Management Company. We provide maintenance services for our Property Owners and Homeowners’ Associations Board of Director’s and homeowners’ Who we need: An organized, flexible, and reliable person, without exception. You must be capable of handling various maintenance request as assigned by the Project Coordinator. A flexible, pro-active problem solver whose top priority is to provide top notch maintenance. Tool bag with a variety of hand held tools is necessary. Skills that will help you stand out: • Strong written and verbal communication skills, which include the ability to communicate through email and navigate a company cell phone with various apps the company utilizes • Ability to be flexible when emergent maintenance issues arise • Experience in quality drywall patching, painting, minor plumbing, light electrical, appliance repair troubleshooting • Ability to work with a variety of people including board members, owners, vendors, and tenants • 2+ years of offsite property maintenance • Any industry certifications You will also be able to: • Effectively communicate with the Project Coordinator and Property Manager on status of job and progress of work orders • Work calmly under pressure with shifting priorities • Ability to work independently and take ownership, keeping profitability in mind • Have excellent attendance & punctuality • Have a positive attitude and understand all communication is to be directed to the Project Coordinator Essential Duties: • Perform move in/move out maintenance work orders and punch list items • Quality work and integrity is a must, no exceptions • Tasks would include light electrical, painting, drywall patch, light plumbing, grounds cleanup • Ability to time keep via company cell phone app for job costing reasons • Expense receipts turned in daily via company app or photo emailing for job costing • Taking a pro-active approach while on site to alert Project Coordinator of any potential safety or deferred maintenance issues Education and Experience: • Relevant Industry experience necessary, 2+ years preferred • Minimum High School or Equivalent Requirements: • Driver’s License • Reliable transportation to get to work. A company vehicle is provided during working hours • Must be able to pass a background check • Ability to pass Federal drug test Why You Should Work for Us: Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm with ½ hour lunch break during normal business hours.
