Press release from the City of West Palm Beach: 08/03/2021 10:35 AM   Material (SG) II was dedicated on July 29 at 360 Rosemary WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (August 3, 2021) –Materials (SG) II by world-renowned artist Yinka Shonibare, CBE was celebrated on Thursday, July 29, at 360 Rosemary, Related Companies' new Class-A office building, located in Rosemary Square. The result of the first public/private collaboration for a large-scale public art in the City of West Palm Beach, the installation by the British Nigerian artist was formally welcomed into the city's public art collection.  Related Companies, the ArtLife WPB public art program and the City of West Palm Beach commissioned the notable Material (SG) II, a part of the artist's Wind Sculpture series inspired by the global movement of people. The vibrant artwork will further enhance this culturally rich district of Downtown West Palm Beach.  This press release was produced by the City of West Palm Beach.
