The summer of Wonder and Amazement continues with HANDS-ON SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS and development of new skills and scientific vocabulary. Science Rocks!! Summer Camp Boys and Girls Ages: 7-10 Enhance your kids' summer for 2021 with HANDS-ON science experiments where they'll learn the secrets of how to make the cool stuff that they love, explore the mystery of how they work, AND SOCIALLY CONNECT with their peers. Equipped with SAFETY GLASSES and LAB NOTEBOOKS to record observations and new science vocabulary, your child's knowledge and interest in science and math will skyrocket attending a camp. With up to six different science themes to select from, kids will have a blast touching on an array of topics through hands-on science activities including rockets, glowing volcanoes, reactions, ice-cream science, physics and architectural design. Participants will also be provided with Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects to challenge them beyond class. Also, wear comfortable clothes because things can get MESSY!! Science is LIT and MESSY at times!! :) And last but not least, we wrap up the day with a little bit of fitness, so gym shoes, water bottles, and a healthy snack are recommended, but not required. Water and a light snack will be provided for participants. Week 1: BUBBLES, REACTIONS, EXPLOSIONS, OH MY!! **August 2-4, 2021 from 9:00am - 11:30am (Registration closes 7/31/21) Have fun doing instructor-led chemical reactions and explosions using real laboratory equipment, creating and testing different bubble solutions, and building take-home glow-in-the-dark volcanoes.
