THE MONTEREY HERALD IS SEEKING INDEPENDENT CONTACTORS FOR NEWSPAPER DELIVERY This is not your Grandma's paper route. Serious delivery skills, a reliable economy car and the ability to run your own business are keys to success. We distribute all home-delivered publications in our market. Your contract with the Herald offers per-piece compensation and off-beat hours in the early morning so you can live the rest of your life while your bring in some extra bucks. 5 am finds you tossing papers into driveways and running up to porches, so you will get your workout too! It's 7 days a week, rain or shine, you use your own vehicle, and all we ask from you are happy customers. Finish by 6:30 weekdays and 7:30 weekends, make sure the papers are delivered dry and where the customers want them and we are all good! Weekly profit runs to whatever you can handle -- a couple of routes to make extra money, a few more to make enough to pay your rent or mortgage, save for kids' college, pay off debts.
