Press release from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay: August 3, 2021 Prevent Suicide Manitowoc has opened up registration for their 10 Annual Run/Walk for Hope. The event is scheduled for September 25 and will take place at UW Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, instead of at Nashotah Beach, where it had taken place in years past. The opening ceremony emceed by our own Ryan Brahm will begin at 8:00 and the walk/run will start at 9:00 AM. Proceeds from this year's event will go toward raising awareness for suicides in the veteran community, which still number around 20 per day. Also new this year, on top of the traditional 5K route, there will also be a 10K route for those who wish to challenge themselves a little more. All are welcome to participate.
