Description

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Merchants Association and Mayor Mark Freda will be hosting a virtual business forum on Thursday at 10 a.m. During the forum, attendees will hear the latest updates from Freda and Princeton Health Officer Jeffrey Grosser. Joining the forum will be members of Princeton University — Tom Dunne, Ian Deas, and Mitchel Charles from the University's Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students. They will talk about the University's 'Tigers In Town' initiative. Launched in Spring 2021 the program was designed to encourage students to explore Princeton while supporting local businesses. The University officials will talk about the success of the program and plans for the upcoming fall semester. According to Lisa Serieyssol, Chair of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee, over 400 visitors participating in the East Coast Greenway Alliance's two-day 125-mile NYC to PHL ride will arrive by bike in Princeton for an overnight stay in August. This will give local retailers and restaurants an opportunity to serve the visitors. The Forum is open to all businesses and community members in Princeton.
