Join us and be part of the explosive growth of online sales and distribution! Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic, self-starter, and detail-oriented individual to be a Warehouse assistant. You will be an action taker and be part of a team to receive, count, and place inventory accurately on a daily basis in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great safety standards. You will be working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Essential Functions: *Work in the inbound inventory operation by ensuring shipments are accurately counted and entered into the system and located in their proper warehouse positions. *Inspect and report any discrepancies or damage that may have occurred from supplier shipment to arrival to the warehouse. *Works with Warehouse Management System to confirm accurate quantities have arrived as well as reports to the rest of the inventory team. *Communicates clearly and frequently any issues with inventory, equipment and personnel so as to assist the Inbound Supervisor to make the proper decisions to keep the operation moving forward efficiently. *Make sure that the warehouse is clean and organized, take initiative to lead the team to maintain order, and strive for an always improving warehouse operation. *Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. Qualifications: *High School Diploma Experience: *1 to 2 years of related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred *Computer proficiency and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Excel, Word, Gmail *Great communication skills both verbal and written *Problem-solving skills and initiative to look for solutions when challenges arise *Forklift operation experience *Detail Oriented *Must be willing to learn and follow directions
